Der Dynamics Connector ist ja schon seit längerer Zeit verfügbar und dient vor allem der Verbindung von Microsoft Dynamics CRM mit Dynamics NAV oder AX. Seit der Verfügbarkeit gab es natürlich auch von einigen Leuten die Überlegung, zwei Instanzen des gleichen Produkts miteinander zu verbinden, um so Daten in mehreren Instanzen desselben Produkts zu synchronisieren. Und genau so eine Erweiterung der Connectors gibt es jetzt für CRM: Mit dem Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 Instance Adapter verbinden Sie zwei Dynamics CRM 2011 Instanzen miteinander und können so Daten zwischen diesen austauschen. Anwendungsbeispiele sind z.B. Datenaustausch zwischen einem Test- und einem Live-System oder von einem On-Premise System in ein Dynamics CRM Online System (und natürlich gibt es noch weitere Anwendungsmöglichkeiten) Voraussetzung für die Verwendung des Dynamics CRM 2011 Instance Adapters ist der Dynamics Connector in einer Mindestversion 2.1.317.1. Über das Partner Learning Center ist ein neues Demovideo sowie ein Hands On Lab zum Dynamics CRM Connector verfügbar. Die Demo verwendet Dynamics AX als ERP-Backend, die Informationen zum Connector und das Hands On Lab können aber leicht auf Dynamics NAV angewendet werden. In einem Video wird gezeigt, welche neuen Features die V2 des Dynamics CRM Connectors zur Verfügung stellt. Es geht dabei vor allem um die neuen Möglichkeiten der Filterung, die Authentifizierungsmöglichkeiten für CRM und das geänderte End User License Agreement (EULA). Laut dem neuen EULA ist für die Verwendung des CRM Connectors nur mehr 1 Dynamics Produkt notwendig (und nicht mehr sowohl Dynamics ERP als auch Dynamics CRM). Not always this is the right one you are looking for – so just go forward by using the Find feature. The trace log usually give you more detail information about the exception. One of the most business needs one the customer sites I am actually working is to get the next no out of the NAV number series tables for using it in primary keys (resp. setup tables). There is more than one way to solve this, but I want to you show you how easily you can do this by using the Microsoft Dynamics Connector SDK. Hi, all if you create a custom NAV web service to integrate it with the dynamics connector, be sure you start the web service name like all the default ones are started …”Integration [custom]” Otherwise in my scenario they are not shown in the configuration utility (I didn’t retry it 3 times .. but 2 times repeating causes the  same result ….)
