Wie ich bereits mal berichtet habe, hat Claus vor längerem einen Post darüber geschrieben unter welchen Umständen man Visual Studio 2010 bereits mit NAV 2009 SP1 einsetzen kann. Gerade aber diese Umstände machen es nicht all zu oft möglich 2010 bereits zu verwenden. Aus diesen Zweck greifen viele noch immer auf die Version 2008 zu. Weil ich bereits mehrfach in Workshops angesprochen wurde findet man auf  der Visual Studio Express Website von Microsoft “nur” noch die aktuellste Version. Open Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 Classic with SQL Option and connect to you database 2. Select Tools – Object Designer 3. Select Reports 4. Select New 5. Create a blank report 6. Since NAV 2009 Service Pack 1 it is possible to use External Assemblies in NAV 2009 reports. This is a feature of Reporting Servicesand this feature was activated with Service Pack 1. Some weeks ago I tried to use an external assembly in NAV 2009 reporting. I want to figure out HOW to use it and what is possible. Hier ein kurzes Update vom zweiten Tag aus Prag: Weitere Session haben den Tagesablauf beherrscht Ein paar beispielhafte Höhepunkte : war der Vortrag von Jörg Stryk zum Thema NAV und SQL Performance Tuning (kommt demnächst nach Österreich und in die Schweiz – siehe meinen Post morgen!!!!) Mark Brommelmit Tipps und Tricks zu NAV 2009 und SP1 und die abendliche Veranstaltung mit einer kurzen Rundreise mit dem Boot durch  Prag und dem anschließenden Besuch in einem der ältesten und bekanntesten Restaurants, Casino und Abendlokal dem Moulin Rouge. Alles in allen ein bisher sehr gelungenes Event.
